Spanish oak honey is a unique honey produced from the nectar of holm oak and sessile oak flowers, found in Spanish forests. Sporting an almost black color, this honey offers an intense flavor, often described as caramelized, woody or smoky, with distinct notes of licorice, prunes and leather.
